STRAMATEL Radio Console – What to Do When the Controller Does Not Power On

STRAMATEL Radio Console – What to Do When the Controller Does Not Power On

Step 1 – Disconnect the Power Adapter

Unplug the charger from the STRAMATEL radio controller to ensure complete power isolation before handling.

Step 2 – Access and Disconnect the Battery

  1. Turn the controller upside down.

  2. Unscrew the small rear cover (held by one screw).

  3. Locate the internal battery connector.

  4. Gently press the small latch on the connector to safely disconnect the battery.

⚠️ Be careful not to pull directly on the wires — only on the plastic connector.

Step 3 – Test the Controller on Mains Power Only

Reconnect the charger to the controller without the battery.
If the controller powers on, it means the charger and main circuit are working correctly.

Step 4 – Reconnect the Battery

Reconnect the battery to its connector, close the cover, and observe:

  • ✅ If the controller stays on, let it charge for at least 24 hours to restore the battery capacity.

  • ❌ If it turns off again, the battery is likely defective and may need to be replaced

Step 5 – If the Controller Still Does Not Turn On

If the issue persists after these checks:

  1. Contact STRAMATEL Aftersales Service to request a battery and/or repair quotation.

  2. Take a clear photo of the mainboard inside the controller to help our team identify the issue.

    • To access the mainboard, remove the complete back plate (unscrew the remaining five crosshead screws).

  3. Attach the photo when you contact our support team.
